Mrs Clinton and Mr Obama....

I'm still going back and forth on the two candidates worth voting for...

But with the whole Barack plagiarism thing this week, I thought this video made a great point...

My conclusion: the media spins everything.

I would like to know why you think these two self-serving politicians deserve your vote?

First off, boo to you! Boo to anonymous comments (in the words of my pal Josh Howerton.)

The only reason I have anonymous comments enabled is so people don't have to create a Blogger account to write on here. If one thinks they are bold enough to ask such a question, they should atleast have the guts to let everyone know who they are. Or I could check with Sitemeter (who monitors activity on my blog) and get your IP address....

Anyway, the question stands: why should I vote for either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama?

Simple: because the Republicans haven't had a candidate worth voting for since God knows when... and I'm not about to vote for a perpetual war supporter like John McCain. After the lying, bumbling, world colonizing presidency we've had for the past eight years, we need some unity and change. I just don't think that the Republicans have anything to offer in the way of those two subjects.

I think anybody who borrows from my boy Edwards is worthy of consideration...

Good old Ralph might save me from having to vote for either party, though. I think he really cares about people, I'd waste my vote on him a second time...haha.

I'll vote Democrat, however, if I think Edwards will get the VP spot or attorney general, an office that most definately needs a decent human being controlling it.

McCain blows, only slightly less than Huckabee...

Sheffield--always making the magic happen on my blog. You make me laugh...

And yes, Ben, Nader is back in action. Shock and dismay. The dude knows he has no hope of winning, he just wants to bring awareness to issues that no one else wants to talk about. He may be a hypocrite, but atleast he has the guts to stand up and talk about what really needs to change. He's an interesting fellow, but probably only gets the vote when people feel like there's no one else worth voting for.

I hope John Edwards gets a great position. I'd love to see him on a VP ticket, but I don't think it'll happen. I'm sure Obama and Clinton will end up together--they've prety much got the power. AG would be a great fit for him--someone with some moral fiber in the position again.

Sheffield told me yesterday that Huckabee doesn't want a VP spot--he said he doesn't "wanna be someone's sidekick." So what the heck is he still doing in the race??? Personally, I think the only votes he'll get are from hard line conservatives who don't do their research and don't know any better. I wish Ron Paul stood a chance...

I definately agree with you on Paul.

I don't know if Hillary and Obama will/can run together. Look what happened in 2000 when W and McCain had their ugly little fued for the Republican nomination - the winner went outside of the other candidates for a running mate.

Interesting.... Unity and Change. Clinton can bring neither unity nor change. Obama says he will bring change, but has no record on change. Obama may bring unity because of his great speaking ability but I still wonder about substance. I personally do not think there is a good candidate in either party and I did the research and do know better. I believe however when you make sweeping statements about a group of people like the "hard line conservatives" like you did in your last comment it is not helpful and a little arrogant.

I think its my blog, where I can say whatever I like. I shouldn't have to defend myself in a public forum developed for people to voice their opinions to promote discussion. If you don't like it, I don't care. Go read something else that you find pleasing. Otherwise, you can reserve your judgments on me until you quit hiding behind the cowardice of "anonymous" and hold an actual conversation with me face-to-face.

Thanks.

Man, it makes my day when shit hits the fan on here...haha.

To the anonymous hard line conservative, I'll ask this:
When was the last time a good candidate ran? Instead of just bitching and getting offended, why not add your two cents to the discussion? Your criticism of both candidates was ridiculously vague, and as such has zero clout. I'm not trying to insult you or anything, I'm just saying that you made very little effort to stand on any legitimate soap box with your comments. And the whole anonymous thing is a little pretentious, too, is it not?
